In Student Health and Wellness, we help students succeed by taking care of their health and well-being. We're honored to be part of their academic success — and to help set them up for success after college.
Here are a few ways to support student health and well-being:
The Collegiate Recovery Community provides a safe and supportive campus community for students in recovery from substance use. can successfully achieve their academic, personal and professional goals. Services offered include weekly support meetings, individualized recovery planning, 24-hour access to the collegiate recovery lounge, counseling support, academic resources, organized sober activities, wellness and life skills workshops, and recovery housing.
CAPS is committed to connecting students with the most appropriate and available care and services that optimize their health, wellbeing and success. Funds raised through this donation opportunity will be used to pay for psychiatric care that is not covered by health insurance or university allocations. Every $150 raised can help pay for one psychiatry visit for an MSU student.
The Survivor Emergency Fund at the MSU Center for Survivors provides immediate financial support to survivors of sexual violence. Donations will help survivors address a broad range of financial needs, such as medical bills and housing fees.
The MSU Safe Place Advocacy Assistance Fund aims to effectively address the needs of survivors of relationship violence and stalking and their minor children on MSU's campus and in the surrounding communities.
